Dolphin profiles - Annie

Who? Annie
Gender: Female
Age: 18 years old
Origin: Wild, Honduran coast
Mother of: Machu

Annie is a really lovely, wonderful dolphin lady. Collected from Honduras' north coast, Annie first resided at the Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences for a while, before moving to the Curacao Dolphin Academy. She's one of the most recognisable dolphins, with the three dots on her left cheek, and participates in many of the interaction programmes, making her well known and loved with the general public as well.

I had the chance to meet Annie a couple of times during my week at the academy; first very briefly during an encounter, but later on more extensively during a swim and even out in the open sea! She's a really sweet, well-mannered and collected (for as far as I could tell), and most of all gorgeous lady.
